The '09 Summer Academy was a hit.

2010 Date: August 10-11.

Welcome to the Softball Academy @ Williams

This winter will be the first two-day winter academy at Williams. Recommended for advanced players interested in playing in college, the academy will cover all aspects of the game in drills as well as full infield scrimmage situations. It's a great way to learn about Williams as well as sharpen your game.

The two day summer academy includes instruction by experienced college coaches from some of the most highly regarded academic and athletic institutions in New England and beyond. We've expanded the staff in order to offer even more individualized attention. The winter academy and clinics offer beginner and experienced players alike the opportunity to learn new skills and improve their game for the upcoming season.

Hands-on softball and lots of game play are the cornerstones of our program. In the summer, current college players serve as assistant coaches and offer a great opportunity for high school players to learn about "playing in college" directly. In the winter the Eph players and coaches work on all aspects of the game.

Video evaluation, mental game training and extensive hitting work are hallmarks of the Academy.

Both summer and winter programs have enrollment limits. The summer program is limited to thirty-six students, rising juniors and seniors in high school only, and the number of players at each position is restricted at registration to insure you get to play your top position. Individual one-on-one evaluations will help you improve specific points of your game. The Winter Academy is restricted to varsity players (2010) and recommended to those who have a desire to play ball in college.
