What: 2009: Third Annual Softball Academy @ Williams College.
A two-day intensive fastpitch clinic for high school girls.
Who: The academy is open to all players who will graduate from high school with the classes of 2010 and 2011. The Academy is staffed by top coaches as well as current collegiate players.
How Many: Enrollment will be limited by position and when a position is full you will have to choose a secondary position. Most of your game time will be at your primary position group but everyone will have to play more than one spot during the Academy. We create three teams from the following players:
9 pitchers
6 catchers
15 infielders
6 outfielders
When: August 18-19, 2009
Where: Williams College, Williamstown, MA
How: Players attend five sessions over two days for a total of fourteen hours of softball. Enrollment is limited to insure small coach/player ratio and every player will play live games on the Williams College field. Certified collegiate umpires will work the games, certified trainer on site.
Cost: $260 tuition includes all instruction, games on lined fields with umpires, a tshirt, lunch each day in a Williams College "all you can eat" dining hall and a group cookout Monday evening.
Housing is not included. There are many hotels in Williamstown and surrounding towns.
