Summer Academy '10
What: 2010: Fourth Annual Softball Academy @ Williams College.
A two-day intensive fastpitch program for high school girls.
Who: The academy is open to all players who will graduate from high school with the classes of 2011 and 2012. The Academy is staffed by top coaches as well as current collegiate players.
How Many: Enrollment is limited by position. We create three teams from the following players:
12 pitchers
6 catchers
15 infielders/outfielders
If your primary position is full you may still sign up and will get instruction at any position you choose. The limits are for primary game play spots only.
When: August 10-11, 2010
Where: Williams College, Williamstown, MA
How: Players attend five sessions over two days for a total of fourteen hours of softball. Enrollment is limited to insure small coach/player ratio and every player will play live games on the Williams College field. Certified collegiate umpires will work the games, certified trainer on site.
Cost: $300 tuition includes all instruction, games on lined fields with umpires, a tshirt, lunch each day in a Williams College "all you can eat" dining hall and a group cookout Tuesday evening.
Housing is not included. There are many hotels in Williamstown and surrounding towns.
