SAWC Summer Academy Sample Schedule
Tuesday
Registration begins at 7:30 AM at Cole Field
Morning Session 8:30 AM-Noon
Lunch in dining hall
Afternoon session 1:30-4:30 PM
Cookout and recruiting information session for players, coaches and families @ the field
(reservations and fee required for family members)
Evening session 6:00-8:00 PM
MORNING SESSION:
Skill stations: hitting, groundball defense, flyball defense, overhand throwing, receiving throws & tagging. Fundamentals. TEAM PRACTICE with college coach and players.
AFTERNOON & EVENING SESSIONS:
Games on field with certified collegiate umpires.
Hitting sessions with videotaping and analysis.
Wednesday
Morning session begins at 8:30 AM: more game play & skill stations along with mental training workouts and conditioning session.
Lunch.
Afternoon session 1:30-5:00PM: final games & skill competitions.
